celebrities impact on society

The most influential celebrities of all times
Ηave you ever thought who affect  us to act, dress , behave the way we do ?
The answer is easy and simple Celebrities…And you would  ask why celebrities?
Because through decades a lot of things have changed because of them.

I made this article to present you some of the most influential woman of all times .

Coco Chanel
1920-1930
Gabrielle Bonheur well known as Coco Chanel is one of the most important fashion and not only figures of the 20th century. She started as cabaret singer in the town of Moulins and Vichy, during her singing career she was gave the nickname Coco.


She is name is till now synonymous with elegance and feminity .She was known for her incredible creativity as designer and also very expertise in business .She was just unconventional with boyish look and short hair presents the style of a new kind of women released from the uncomfortable corset. She made the difference by rejecting the fashion trends of the period and do her own. Most of them were worn only by men.


Another achievement of her was the historical chanel  NO5 the most erotic fragrance of all times…it was worn by Marilyn Monroe in bed!

Chanel’s impact on society is just undeniable and her legacy still lives in fashion today .Items are as stylish now as the day they were made …

Katherine Hepburn
Katherine Hepburn was an American actress in cinema, television, theatre legend of tv she holds the record of the most Oscars A’ female role.
She was also known for her unique personality she was outspoken ,anti-hollywood and went against stereotypes of blonde sex bomb .Katherine prefered to wear suits ,pants and no make up .She wanted to be comfortable and she didn’t like high heels.





 In addition,she created a new kind of women confident, independent and She inspired three generations of women to be more educated and active.

Marilyn Monroe
What can I say for the ultimate American  symbol of sex? she was classified sixth of 25 most stars of all times. Probably the most famous movie star ever. She was a worldwide symbol of everything to do with movies, Hollywood and glamour.



 But she wasn't always  just a happy girl she went through a very tough childhood because of her mother who was been hospitalized many times into psychiatrical clinics.




 Marilyn was very confident and dare to take risks .Regardless of her roles as the dump blonde she wasn’t dump in real.

Her final years were marked by illness, personal problems and a reputation of unreliability to work with.




 In the decades following her death she has been cited as a pop and a cultural icon as well as the quintessential American symbol.

Twiggy
Lesley Clawson well known as Twiggy is an English model, actress, singer the face of ‘60s.

She was known for her different androgynous look large eyes and long fake lashes. She has boyish skinny features and short hair .
 Also she was one  of the extremely thin figures but she wasn’t anorexic and unfairly blamed of unrealistic beauty standards . Magazines, pop culture, fashion industry drove for extremely thin figures not Twiggy.

1980-1990
Madonna

Madonna is one of the most successful women in the world with a lot of achievements as a singer, dancer, author, song writer, and producer. She was recognized the most successful singer with 200 million disks worldwide.


She was extremely eccentric well known for her brave music videos and blamed of use Christian and sexual symbols. She was popular to be unique and changed the fashion in ‘80s with her outrageously outfits .She still remains a fashion icon.




 1990-1999

Kate Moss

 Kate Moss who was born in London is the second most well payed    model in the world.
 

Kate is still a fashion icon but also was took a very important role in zero size .She presents the thin anti-model tall figures of the decade as Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer  and Naomi Campbell .




She influenced a whole generation of anorexic girls based on her motto “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” but when she asked about anorexia she said that she was never anorexic and she was thin because she was  working really  hard.
